Joliet Montessori sees the individual in every child. We set their innate curiosity loose, and guide them to open new doors of learning and personal growth. We engage and nurture each child to reach their potential.
Montessori lessons are designed to mimic the natural process of inquisitive hands-on play. Exercises with specially designed materials lay the foundation for high-level concepts in mathematics, science, language, and everyday life. By using these physical components children are more engaged and their natural curiosity accelerates and deepens the learning process.
Each student moves through these lessons in an individualized order, free of pressure or competition. Highly trained Montessori teachers encourage them them to embrace new challenges and grow based on their specific needs; allowing them to reach their true potential.
The Montessori classroom nurtures the whole child, seeking personal growth as well as academic growth. Students support each other in their learning process, giving and receiving mentorship. Montessori teachers foster a peaceful, kind, and supportive classroom full of friends who work together for success.
